Anne Cole Frickson

Anne Cole Frickson is an artist, mother, daughter, sister, and friend who invites viewers to witness humanity through her drawings and paintings, created with both hands and heart. Her work explores the essence of people—their bodies, minds, and souls—and how these can be expressed in two dimensions. Rooted in portraiture and landscape painting, her practice reflects a deep curiosity about connection, presence, and the human experience.

She earned her BA in 2011 from the College of Creative Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and continues to build upon a background in classical techniques while pursuing her own contemporary voice.
